I am an associate professor of computer science at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), a small liberal-arts, teaching-focused institution in rural, North-Central Ohio. I have been teaching undergraduate courses at MVNU for seven years and had a former life as an embedded software engineer in industry for seventeen years with Eastman Kodak, Data Science Automation (DSA) at Wright Patterson Air Force BASE (WPAFB), and PDi Communications, Inc. I still do some software development work as a consultant. I have a Ph.D., in Computer Science and Engineering from Wright State University and an MBA from the University of Dayton.
